Purse Envy

I don't know about you, but I've been secretly (or not so secretly), craving a large yet cute carry all that could work for school and everything else. When I saw this Proenza Schouler bag on net-a-porter I fell in love. It comes in so many gorgeous colours, who could resist? Unfortunately I didn't fall in love with the price tag, and I for one do not have the funds for a $2000 bag!

So with a little sleuthing I was able to find a look-a-like for under $100 on Bag Inc. Coming in a variety of gorgeous autumn colours (although not my beloved raspberry shade), you can't go wrong.

Or finally you could go the ASOS route and check out their gem for $110. In my books this oxblood colour is a steal. I guess anything is compared to the real PS1.

So I'm an English major here at UBC, but lately I've been thinking about career paths and I literally want to be a wedding planner more and more each day. I just love every aspect of it! Spring Fling

Holla my nuggets, I finished a paper tonight and it felt literally phenomenal. Nothing like the weight of 40% of your grade lifted off your chest. So I had a couple glasses of a nice Cab Sauv and scoured the world wide web for any eye catching tidbits for all you lovelies. Spring is here, and although the weather hasn't been up to par I'm still loving it. Tomorrow is a chance to get dressed up and hit up Big Block, then Thursday is the last day of classes and with that comes the AMS Block Party, always a fantastic time in the beer gardens with my fellow classmates and with Felix Cartal headlining it's sure to be fab. 

Loving the bright lips lately, I've tried a bunch and although I haven't found a shade that I'm really into yet, the fingers are crossed. Any suggestions pour moi?

Lavender tips are tickling my fancy as of late, and I have to say I found a pretty slick color at my neighborhood Shoppers. For around 6 bucks I picked up Sally Hansen in Loyal Lavender and it has been a hit! I find that it looks a bit more purply in person, this photo does not do it justice.

Get me to Cinco de Mayo seriously. I hope Edmonton will cooperate and the weather will be nice enough for an outdoor fiesta of some sort. Does this not look utterly phenomenal?

Bikini Lust

Once again I can't sleep...What else is new. Anyways I decided to do something really productive and scope out some potential bikinis from Victoria's Secret. I mean I am going to Costa Rica and all, so I may as well stock up for my 3 1/2 week beach side dream after my volunteering is over right? I'm absolutely in love with these babies. With so many to choose from its hard to pick just one!

These Alexis Bittar gold knot earrings. To die for. Not too over the top, but elegant, refined and glamourous at the same time.  

                                                                    

This outfit. Perfect for the ever changing Vancouver weather with numerous layers. The leather gloves are such a sweet little touch. Plus how cute is it?

Brick Walls and Chandeliers. I've been obsessing over antique chandeliers lately and the look of unrefined brick walls inside homes. This shot shows the two combined which I've completely fallen for. The simple elegance of the stark white sheets just adds a finishing touch.

Simple Meals. As a full time student, with a part time job I know I don't have a lot of time on my hands. As a comfort food lover there's nothing better than a gooey grilled cheese and tomato soup. To spice it up maybe try a couple different cheeses like Balderson, or Brie, and mix a few fresh basil leaves into the soup.

I am on the hunt for a little white dress to wear with my camel blazer that I recently bought at H&M. Any suggestions?

Messy, unkempt, yet perfectly styled hair. Nothing looks better. So roll out of bed, skip the shower and style away!

Mila Kunis

Lately I've been obsessed with Mila Kunis. First off she's funny as hell, knows what's up, and I'm in love with her day-to-day style to boot including her inspirational hair and make-up. Not to mention the killer dresses she's been rocking on the red carpet as of late, so I for one can't wait to see what she whips out at the Oscars! Thirdly I'm anxiously awaiting "Friends with Benefits", also starring JT, to come out. Girls night anyone?

I love, love, love how she dresses comfortably, casually and super cute. As a jeans and a sweater kind of girl myself, I find her looks very fun, easy and totally wearable, whether it be to school, work, or going out and about.

What to Wear Tomorrow

Looking for something to wear tomorrow? I'm sure sick of wearing my Hunters and raincoat, and tomorrow calls for some afternoon sunshine. So whip out those skinny cargos tucked away in your closet, a nice blazer and textured scarf, tuck in that button down and a throw on cute pair of glasses, you're good to go. Although I wouldn't recommend the high heeled sandals she's got going on, a pair of weather appropriate boots may be the smart choice.
